Info

Phast has been one of our more recent additions to the gene pool at Hard Rock Llama Co.  He was purchased at side of his dam from the WoodsEdge sale merely because Darrell Anderson recommended him for our farm.  He grew up in Ada with us and did some limited showing where he did well.  He was even Grand Champion Suri male at the North American.  We quickly retired him to our breeding program where he has turned out to be an aggressive breeder and top stud on the farm.  He has earned his own solo pasture in the front of the farm.  Phast is regal and throws his beautiful lustrous fiber and lovely paint coloring.  His offspring have quickly moved on.  We have kept a couple that will start their breeding here at the farm in 2016.  We still breed him, but keep it limited to our best.  He is a special guy and has a lot of offer in the form of conformation, fiber and presence.  We are now producing our second generation of this guys’ lineage and really continuing to like the flash he produces on sound bodies.  At 12 he looks just as good as he did a decade ago.  In 2019 he is likely to have two offspring on the ground as we get ready to test breed another of his offspring, Pedal to the Metal.  After years of offspring and making an incredible impact on our herd, he is retired from breeding.

Offspring Info

They have arrived… Phast’s first crop of 2011 cria has resulted in 1 male and 2 females. They are a sharp bunch in an array of color with beautiful fiber and solid conformation.  We have continued since 2011 to have Phast cria each year.  We do breed him selectively and have been extremely happy with what we’ve produced. His offspring have won both halter and futurity shows.  We have retained some of Phast & Phurious’s genetics and have enjoyed seeing the next generation hit our pastures and the show rings!  As of 2024 this guy is officially retired.  His bloodlines remain an outcross to most popular lineage as we bred him selectively all the years that we had him.
