Peruvian El Gris
Sadly, Peruvian El Gris passed the Monday after the LFA show/sale. He was the male that put Hard Rock Llama Co. on the map! El Gris was a 1993 Peruvian import with a curly gray fleece. His offspring have topped ALSA shows as well as futurities. He was named the Celebrity World Futurity Get of Sire winner as well as the 2001 ALSA Grand Nationals Get of Sire winner…a llama first! His offspring span the country and are still highly sought after today! The produce of El Gris offspring are doing equally as well as the first.
El Gris’ offspring have acheived numerous accomplishments over the years. In 2001 El Gris captured the Celebrity World Futurity Get of Sire as well as the ALSA Grand Nationals Get of Sire Championship. Hard Rock’s Bravado owned by Tami and Llyod Lash was the 2002 Grand Nationals Heavy Wool Male Grand champion! Below is a sampling of the many offspring produced by El Gris. You may click on any image within the site to see an enlarged and clearer picture. EL GRIS HAS BEEN DECEASED FOR YEARS NOW, BUT HIS LEGACY LIVES ON. HIS OFFSPRING CONTINUE TO WIN COMPETITIVE SHOWS. GASTON AND BRAVADO HAVE BOTH WON THE GRAND NATIONAL HEAVY WOOL MALE TITLE AND WE HAVE TWO OUTSTANDING SONS PRODUCING HERE AT HARD ROCK. CHECK OUT THEIR PRODUCTION ALONG WITH THE FEMALE PRODUCTION ON THIS SITE!
